I like to think of my makeup routine as pretty straightforward and easy because that’s the kind of person I am. Let me start off saying that these are all holy grail – status products to me and have my seal of approval.
I start off curling my lashes with the Shiseido Eyelash Curler then slap on my base: the BRTC Gold Caviar BB Cream as a base, then spread a thin layer of the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation with my Beauty Blender (which I got in my Luxe Box a couple months ago!). Next comes the highlight. I don’t think I’ve strayed away from the Benefit Watts Up! highlighter since I got it two years ago in a birthday gift from Sephora. I find that a little bit on the lids also help create a nice dewiness that makes you look like you just ran 5km (in a good way). Think J-Lo, think Karly Kloss. Except Asian and like a foot shorter. I’m about to retire my MAC 168 brush but I used to use it to contour with my MAC Powder Blush in Harmony (which can look orange on me when I overkill it).
For lips, I use my Burts Bees Honey Lipbalm as a base for my Urban Deccay 24/7 Glide on lip pencil in Liar and finish it off with Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal in Nude Peach. This is my new favourite lip combination because it’s the perfect taupe-y, nude lip (I know sounds weird but like a peanut butter and banana sandwich, it’s perfect) Lastly, my favourite part: slapping on a coat of L’Oreal Mascara Faux Cils Papillon and separating my lashes with a mechanical pencil.
